Her Easter dress was just too cute not to share! Happy Easter Everyone!

Happy Easter!

Kennedy awoke this morning to find the Easter bunny had visited! The first picture Kennedy is showing Daddy what she got! She was very excited to see her new Care Bear Bunny, a bunny book, a teething duckie and candy. As you can see she is trying to put it in her mouth! Kennedy has really been teething lately and we can see one little tooth on the bottom, but it hasn't broken through yet. Oh! and she has been sitting up by herself recently. She lasts for a couple of minutes, but that is all. She has to increase her endurance, although that belly sure helps!

Cookie Monster! After 4 1/2 months of only milk, Kennedy finally gets a taste of the good life! When I would try to help her hold it, she would think that I was trying to take it and would start growling. She loved it so much her toes were actually curling up!

The Weekend of First's!!!

This past weekend was a busy one for Kennedy. In the first picture you can see she was holding her bottle, with the help of her Tiger and new best friend, Chico. The next two pictures demonstrate how Kennedy has now figured out how she can splash in the bathtub! The last picture is Kennedy trying cereal. Her crazy mom thought maybe she could eat from a spoon out of thin air! Not quite! She didn't really know what to think, but we will try again!

Last weekend we had Kennedy baptized. She did very well until we had to lay her out so she could be baptized. For fear that you are trying to put her to sleep, she screams immediately. Father Pete poured water on her head as Kennedy stared at him. Uncle Chad is her Godfather and Aunty Kate is her Godmother. We had many friends and family members you came and shared in Kennedy's special day. Thank you everyone for coming! As you can see by the last picture, she had had enough. The dress she is wearing is the same dress that all of the Bell children were baptized in. It was very special, and surprisingly fit Tess' big arms!

Kennedy has also taken to watching TV. I'm not sure if she is mesmerized by the actual show (Baby Einstein movie) or the size of the TV! Doesn't she look so little! Grandpa Compton got her the little chair she loves to sit in (it's called a Bumbo). It fits her perfect! The other picture is just too cute. I had to share!

All Night Long!!!

We are pleased to annouce that our wonderful daughter has been sleeping through the night for a week now! This was taken Saturday morning at 8:00 am!!! Still out! I think Tony and I were up simply out of habit, but Kennedy was sawing logs! Yippee!!!!

Since Kennedy thinks she should be sitting up, her teacher puts her in the exersaucer and she loves it! She's 3 months going on 9!

"...Future's so bright, I gotta wear shades!" Kennedy will be going on a cruise in April and is already getting prepared. Nona (my mom) and Grandaddy (my dad) bought these sunglasses for her. I think she would have kept them on all day. She seems to think she is pretty cool!

Kennedy has decided that she needs to start sitting up. When she is "propped up" anywhere she tries to lift her legs and head to sit up. Unfortunately she forgets that she can't and immediately falls either to the side or forward. Here are a couple of pictures demonstrating.

Go Huskers!

Our little husker is about to be too big for her favorite shirt. Since we had a nice day yesterday she was just dying to wear it. The jean skirt and tights conplete the outfit. She had already kicked off her Uggs or she would be wearing them too. She is styling! As you can see Daddy is very pleased with his little husker!

Teething?!

As you can see in the picture, Kennedy has become quite the drooler. She has found her hands and is always chewing on them. Which does not help the drooling problem. The girls at work joke that she is getting teeth....I sure hope not.

It took 10 weeks to get, but Kennedy has a battle wound. On the left side of her face she managed to scratch herself and leave quite a mark. I'm happy to report that no other baby was harmed, but I think she is sending a message to all at school. Do not mess with Tess!

Ah! The Spa!

Like a true princess, Kennedy has already started appreciating the finer things in life. She likes to spend her afternoons at the spa! Daddy, of course, is there to supervise as to limit the spending, but she manages to get what she wants. I think Daddy even got a pedicure! How could he say no to that adorable face!

Shots!

Kennedy had her 2 month appointment today. 3 shots and 2 bandaids. She did very well! As you can see, she doesn't seem too bothered. She is now 13 lbs and 9 ounces and 24 1/4 inches long. Our little girl is already 2 feet tall!

Kennedy has been sleeping really well at night. She goes to bed at about 7:30 usually and sleeps until 11:00, eats and then doesn't wake up until 3:30 or 4:00. As you can see she wakes up very happy!

Our little girl isn't so little anymore! As you can see she is growing very fast! This week she has her 2 month shots. Thank goodness her little legs are....meaty!

Last weekend we celebrated Christmas with Tony's family. She got a Bumbo seat (which she loves as you can see!) a new hair ribbon, a tag blanket and lots of clothes! Kennedy loves spending time with her family, particularly when there are presents involved!

Kennedy wanted to show off her new onsie she got from Aunt Jill and Uncle Chris. She gets compliments ever time she wears them!

1st Day of School! Yesterday Kennedy had her first day of school! As you can see she was very excited to go and had a great time. She met some new friends and loves her teacher. Mom visited her over lunch and Kennedy proceeded to have another 6 ounces an hour after Mom fed her. She has to keep up her energy for all that learning!

Santa brought Kennedy a play pad that she loves.

Kennedy had such a great Christmas! She took her first trip to Garden City. She slept most of the way there and back, but spent some time with her aunts and uncles and of course, Nona and Grandaddy.

Kennedy's first bottle! Daddy fed Kennedy her very first bottle and to no one's surprise she had no trouble! She sucked it down like a champ!

Kennedy has gotten use to the idea of a bath. She doesn't scream the entire time now. I actually think she likes it! However, she likes her robe much better that Uncle Matt and Granddaddy got her.

Kennedy had quite a wild birthday of sleeping, going to Dillons and mailing Christmas cards. Needless to say she was tired!

Finally I catch a smile! She was sleeping and...releasing gas which is why I think she is smiling!

Kennedy has had quite a few visitors, but she was particularly excited to see Aunt Molly who came all the way from Denver to visit.

Kennedy started sleeping in her big girl bed this week. Although it is only across the hall, I think mom gets less sleep than she does. Growing up so fast!

Took a trip to Hiawatha for the annual deer hunt. Daddy got a nice size deer, but hunting doesn't see to be in Kennedy's future!
