For our anniversary, Tony took me on a hot air balloon ride! It was very romantic and very cool. We landed in the middle of the street in a neighborhood, planned thankfully, but very exciting!

Wednesday Carter had has 9 month check-up and here are his stats.

Weight: 24 pounds 9 ounces

Height: 30 1/2 inches

Head: 19 inches

Weight and height are the 90th percentile. Head is 97. :) I guess his head has to be big to be proportionate to the rest of his body...I mean to hold all of the brains. :)

Last night Carter tried a pickle...his face wasn't as bad as Kennedy's was when she first tried one. Maybe he will like them!

Tony's Dad's wedding was this weekend.

Last week Kennedy, Carter and I spent some time in Garden City. Friday night we went to the Municipal Band Concert at Steven's Park and Kennedy had a great time dancing. Uncle Matt plays in the band and Kennedy was very excited to see him on stage!

We had Kennedy and Carter's pictures taken for Father's Day. I can't believe how big they are already!!!

As usual I am really behind on updating. Tony and I went to Wyoming at the end of June. We had a great time and my parents came and watched the kids. Here are a couple of pics....

We went to a school the other day and played. Kennedy had a great time and Carter did too....eating. :)

Even if it kills him, Kennedy will be a golfing. She starts out really strong and then tapers off. :)

Friday we went swimming for the first time this summer. Carter didn't swim as his really withit mom hadn't purchased a swimming suit for him yet. I'm happy to report that he now has one. Of course today it is raining. :)

Nana got Kennedy a lawn mower that blows bubbles. While Kennedy loves bubbles, she also likes to "move" the lawn, as she says. Anyhow, here are a few of her mowing the lawn with Daddy.

Kennedy brought me flowers for mother's day. I'm not sure why but it sounds like Happy Farmer's Day when she says Happy Mother's Day. I guess farmers should have a day too!

We took Kennedy to the circus, again. We must be crazy, but it is what she prays for every night. Really, "Jesus, thank you for the circus." C'mon you would take her too! :)

Carter is really enjoying his food these days. Since moving past the texture issue, I am happy to report that he has liked everything I have put in front of him.

Here are some very scary monster. I don't know why but Kennedy always wants to make scary faces when she takes pictures. Although judging by my face, you would think I like it just as much!

It has been awhile since the last post, but here are a few to get you by. Hopefully I will have Easter's pictures up soon.

This was taken a week ago, but Carter has become quite vocal. He likes to wait until Kennedy goes down for her nap and then he just talks and talks. Probably because that is when he can get a word in!

Carter still hasn't taken to baby food. He will probably go from milk to cheeseburgers like Kennedy did. Nonetheless, he likes to hangout with Kennedy and I when we have breakfast. I can't believe he can still fit in the bumbo.

We had a few days when we were sure that there was an ark coming soon. It rained everyday. kennedy learned and new song. Hopefully you can understand what song it is.

We went to the park at our church. Kennedy had a great time and was fearless. We are in big trouble!

Kennedy has been going to gymnastics. She just started at the beginning of February and really likes it. Here are a few pictures of her.
