For Nancy's birthday, Katie, Nancy and Tony went skydiving. The kids and I went to watch. Thankfully it was happy ending and everyone came down safely! :) A few pics of Tony getting ready and the kids very happy to have him home!

Kennedy and Carter went to a bowling birthday party a couple of weeks ago. They has such a great time. Here are a few pics of the happy kids. As you can see, Carter (very seriously) is pleased with himself.

Last week the kids and I took a little trip to Ames, Iowa to see some friends. Madison, is a little older than Kennedy and Natalie is a little younger than Carter. We had such a great time! Thanks, Stehlik family!!!
Carter loved Natalie because she was just a little shorter than him and so cute! He would try to hold her hand when they were next to each other in the high chairs, he would rub her head and give her toys. It was so cute!!

We brought sugar cookies and one day we frosted them and decorated them. They were delicious!
The Stehlik girls took us to a place that the Compton kids love, the candy store!! We loved everyone minute and is Kennedy a cheeseball or what?!
We went to feed the geese and these two adorable girls were holding hands. Love it!!
Happy Fourth of July!! There was a parade that the kids participated in. Kennedy was very excited and we painted her face. We also threw candy, but that ended being a chore for Nancy and I more than the kids. They just wanted to walk around. Except when Kennedy had the candy she wanted to personally hand the candy to the kids instead of just throwing it. It didn't go so well. We had to run several times to avoid being parade roadkill. Yes. Imagine me with Carter in the wagon, Kennedy being pulled by Nancy and it being hot and 95% humdity. Awesome!

Over the 4th of July weekend, Chad wanted to take the kids to Cedar Cove. It is a refuge for large cats that have been abandoned by their owners or for people you realized after they had a leopard living in their home that maybe that wasn't a good idea. :) We had a great time and the kids loved it! Thanks, Chad!

Carter annoyed he has to model his. :)

Kennedy modeling her new sunglasses!

"Hmm, really..interesting.." The trip was very educational!
