Last night Carter had his last soccer "practice."  It was only a 4 week camp.  He did pretty well.  The first week was great, the second week he cried the entire time(even though I was running with him) and last week he cried for 10 minutes and then was ok.  He was good because the coach brought in 3 high school girls to help and he took to "Coach Abby" right away.  I should have know that a girl would change his mind about soccer!!  :)  Last night he was a different kid.  He got there and was little sad, but found Coach Abby and was great the entire time.  Afterwards they got trophies.  He was so proud!!

Exciting News!

Today at the Compton house...

...we got...

...a DOCK!!

Today they delivered our dock.  We bought a pontoon boat from one of our a lake neighbors.  Hopefully he will be delivering it soon or this is going to be quite awkward when we only have a dock!

Last Friday night, Kennedy and Tony went to a Father/Daughter dance at the TPC.  Kennedy was so excited!  We received the invitation and it stated, "Glamorous attire encouraged."  Now if you know Kennedy, you know that this made her life.  She immediately knew she was going to wear her flower girl dress from Jenna's wedding last year.  Tony got her a coursage and Kennedy was over the moon.  Here are some pictures from the big day!

Before the party..

Really?

The obiligatory brother/sister pic.

What an amzaing memory she will have!!!!

They are so photogenic!!!

Carter and I ordered pizza and watched a movie.  He was has happy and if he had gone to a dance.  He ate 2 pieces of pizza, a reece's PB cup egg and 2 more pieces of pizza.

Fancy dinner of pb and j tea sandwiches and french fries.

There was a DJ and Tony said that once the music started she didn't sit down again.

Congo line, of course!!!

Doing the Beth dance with hands in the air!

Clapping at the DJ.  Look how happy she is!!

This is probably the best picture because of the explanation.  Tony had to hold her hair up because she was so hot, HOWEVER, her arms are in the air because she had to keep dancing.  I love that Tony experience this!

A video of the Dancing Queen!!

As promised, here are more Easter pictures.  Nancy was here to help us celebrate!  Hope the Easter bunny visted you!!!

The Easter bunny brought the kids new umbrellas.  Carter was a frog.

Kennedy's was pink with polka dots and a orange ruffle, of course!

The Easter egg hunt was quite a success!

Enjoying the candy and a little bit of money!

On Good Friday, April 6th, Tony's Grandpa, Byron Compton, passed away.  He had 5 children, 20 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.  Grandpa Byron was a kind man who loved family more than anything.  He was someone who gave more than he received and will be missed more than words.

Thanks for all of the memories and lessons that only you could teach, Grandpa Byron.
Rest in Peace

The kids are taking swimming lessons.  They love it!!!  Kennedy was able to retrieve a diving ring at the bottom of the pool on the first day.  Yes, the pool was only 3.5 feet, but still it was impressive!!!
Kennedy is the right one with the pink goggles, of course!

Come on...look at this stud!!!
