The other night Tony had a long discussion with Carter about staying in bed and going to sleep.  He usually stays in his bed, however he calls for me to say good night and I love you...probably 5 times after I have hugged him and tucked him in.  Last week at about 9:15pm we heard him singing a country song (Country girl, shake it for me).  So, Tony was going up the stairs to bed and found this little guy. DEAD ASLEEP!!  Even with the flash he didn't wake up.  Apparently he didn't want to call our for me and was hoping that I would find him on the stairs.  Tony scooped him up and put him in bed without him waking up. The next morning, he came into our room and told Tony his back kindof hurt.  He didn't remember any of it!!!!  What a stinker!!!

And no, my kids still don't believe in wearing pants to bed.  :)

Minnesota Children's Museum
If you have ever been to a children's museum, you have to visit the Minnesota children's museum.  It will blow all other children's museums out of the water.  It is amazing!  It is several stories tall, with all kinds of fun and educational things on each floor!  We were also in luck because curious george was there that day!

Waiting in line!

Kennedy was too old for curious george (please, kennedy!), but Carter waiting in line so patiently!

Giving him a hug!

Face paint!

In the beaver's house/

Getting ready to go in the ant caves.

"painting" on rocks with the water and bamboo paintbrushes.

On the roof of the building, they have an art studio.  We got to draw our reflections.  We had such a great time!  Next time we will have to bring dadddy!!

TPC!

We have had alot of fun going to the TPC!  The golf course is amazing that here are a few pictures from the summer fun!

Kennedy took golf lessons and next week she has a golf camp.  She seems to really like it and has stated, "I have been bitten by the golf bug."  Boy, would Papa Jon have been happy about that!

We went to a divot party.  Basically we fixed the divots on the course.  Carter just wanted to golf.  This picture is on the TPC Twin Cities website.

They took the kids into the shed where they keep all of the course equipment.  Carter was very happy on the tractor!

In July, the TPC has the member/guest tournament.  Chad and Lindsay Roesler came down for the event.  We had a great time!  Also, it was a white party.

They have a contest to see who can have the worst outfits.  The hot pink shirts looked better in person than on film!

Dentist Time!!!

This was Carter's first trip to the dentist.  I know.  He should have gone sooner, but 2 weeks ago was his first time.  He was not so happy!

Trying not to cry...bless his heart!

did ok...

No cavities!!!  I asked him how it went and he said, "Bad."  The hygienist was not at all offended!

Pretty princess dressed for the occasion...

Kicked off her shoes and relaxed....and had 2 cavities!  That is right!  Mom of the year!!!

One week later, we returned to have the cavities filled and this is what we got.  A happy, but numb little girl.  Needless to say she has really taken to oral hygiene!  She brushes, flosses and uses her mouth rinse twice a day.  She also likes to tell people she can't have candy because she had 2 fillings.  Again, mom of the year!

Just a little teaser to wet your appetite.  We have done some pretty great things recently and I would love to tell you about them, I am having computer trouble that will soon be resolved.  In the meantime, would you look at how cute these little kids are...I mean really?  Couldn't you just eat them with a scoop of ice cream?!

We had a opening ceremony party and made gold medals.  The kids had a great time and loved the Olympics until day 4.  Then they wanted to watch regular TV.  :)  GO USA!!
