The first snow!!
I am very happy to report that today was the first snow since we have been here.  It was about 2 inches, but it was great!  We watched it fall all day yesterday while watching football and a delicious dinner in the crockpot.  It was awesome.  Today: let's try out that snowblower!

All geared up!

Now, how does this work?

"You kids start and I will enjoy the view."

Cheese!

Is this working?

The 3 amigos did a great job!

Yes, the day after we got a snowblower, the weather was chilly, but NOT snowing.  There are parks everywhere in our development.  Across the lake from our house, is the public beach.  There is a really great park there.  We tried it out today and it is awesome.

Kennedy is Queen of the hill!!!

Carter just looking adorable!

Kennedy's Birthday!
Yes.  I made the cake.  I was chanelling my Nona, who's claim to fame was that she invented the Barbie cake.  You would have thought I had given Kennedy the moon.  She said, "I love it and I am so impressed."  The best part is that I ran out of frosting and had to write Happy Birthday in black frosting.  Kennedy did tell me that it looked a little creepy.  She was right.

I let her take her lunch to school.  Her shirt says, "Birthday girl."  We brought pretzels dipped in chocolate and sprinkles and fruit kbabs.  They were a hit!

Please note how Joe Cool is wearing his sunglasses.

Her whole class.

"Fancy" dinner for her birthday.

Carter was grochy and DID NOT want his picture taken.
