Bath Time!!!

I had dinner with a friend last night and Tony (and the kids) took it upon themselves to bath Kozmo...in their tub.  Wasn't that so thoughtful!!!!  Who wants to take a bath now?  :)

Today Carter had a check up with the Ear, Nose and Throat doctor to check his tubes.  The right tube is great, but the left tube is out of place and there is fluid in there.  They are going to recheck him in 6 weeks.  Hopefully the tube will fall out and/or the fluid will go away.  If it becomes infected then we will have to do tubes again.  :(  Right now he has a cold and hasn't complained about his ears at all so lets hope that continues.  He got a Woody sticker that made him very happy and Kennedy got a Justin Beiber sticker.  She was very embarrased and said, "Daddy is going to scream!"  We then went to Tony's office to show him and he wasn't happy (only joking) which made Kennedy's day!!  The girls at Tony's office gave them a sucker and on the way home we ate our suckers and listened to the our Kids Bop 19 CD(google it).

SPRING TIME!!!!

We decided to do a little planting today.  Carter is planting tomatoes and Kennedy is planting flowers.  They will grow in these nice little containers until we kill them...I mean until we have delicious tomatoes and beautiful flowers.  I think Kennedy just wanted to do it so she could get new gardening gloves!

As if the big boy bed isn't bad enough (I mean we are through with the baby stage) the Binky Fairy came today and took Carter's binky.  He got a Kazoo in its place which Carter loves but I would like to punch the Binky Fairy for that one.  Needless to say he works it perfectly.  Anyway, no more binkys, no more cribs.  Just Tony and I and our BIG kids.  (Insert heavy sigh here.)  :)

The bed has a trundle bed so that is his little step.

Sleeping...

I know it has been a very long time since my last post however something wonderful yet sad(for mama) happened this weekend.  We took out Carter's crib and moved his big boy bed in his room.  He did great!  Yesterday at nap was the first try and he went right to sleep!  Bedtime took a little encouragement from Dad, but he slept all night.  Today at nap was the same thing.  No problem and slept for 2 hours.  He is doing great and thinks he is pretty cool.  I'm a little sad that we no longer have a crib in the house.  Not sad enough to have another baby, but still sad.  :)  They grow up so fast!!!!
