On Father's day, we went swimming. Kennedy is quite the swimmer. She would put her face in the water and wasn't never afraid. My little swimmer. Aunty Katie C helped out!

Kennedy being naughty and swimming.

Well, it has been so long since i have posted, i'm going to save my usual clever comments and just post pictures.

Kennedy has recently become found of fruit. Not necessarily eating it, but holding in a carrying it around like it is a friend. First she carried around 2 roma tomatoes through the store all the way home and into the house. The other day it was a cantaloupe. This time she then carried it to the living room to watch tv with it. It is quite hilarious to see how serious she is about it. The first picture is of her after I tried to carry it instead. The next one is of her and her new friend watching t.v. I guess it could be worse...

Kennedy enjoyed her time in Garden City. Grandpa took her on the swings, that have seen better days, first thing in the morning (as you can see she is in her pjs) and they discovered a turtle together. Uncle Brian and his family were there. Kennedy really enjoyed "taken care" of Porter. Clearly, whether Porter wanted it or not, Kennedy was bound and determined to show Porter how wonderful a binky can be.

The last of the Bell's finally graduated!! Last weekend Kennedy, Aunty Katie and I went to see Matt graduate from GCHS.

Last week was the 5 year celebration of Kennedy's school being open. So they had "spirit week" if you will. One day was wear your favorite costume or outfit. I didn't think Kennedy was going to wear it, but once I got it on here she didn't want to take it off. So all the way to school, in her car seat, she had on this pink tutu. If you remember this is from her 9 month pictures. I can't believe it still fit, but what a wonder elastic waists are!

Kennedy is starting to show her independence. I asked her what she wanted to wear to school and this is what we came up with. The socks kindof match. Once she remembered they had ducks (really they are baby chicks) it was all over. She had to wear them. Kennedy has also started doing cheese. I'm not sure where she picked it up, but anytime you have a camera she immediately starts smiling and says cheese. I think any sort of normal smile is forever gone.

This weekend Amanda and Madison came to visit. We had such a great time and the girls got along so well. Madison really took to Tony and wanted him to hold her, which he was more than happy to do, however Kennedy was not having it. She would share Daddy, but not give him up completely.

We went to the park one day...a few more of us hanging out..and having ice cream.

Last week we went to California. Kennedy had a great time. Although we didn't stay close to the beach(we were in Ojai, right outside Santa Barbara) we did stop and visit.

All tuckered out! Kennedy was so tired she couldn't make it home.

Spa Day!

I was cleaning off Kozmo's paws and dipping them in water to clean them up because they were muddy and Kennedy really wanted to help. It was first thing in the morning and she still had her pj's on, but we did it anyway. You can see she really is enjoying having her foot in warm water. The first picture shows how she is relaxing...she has a tough life! I wiped her foot off and put lotion on afterwards and she was in love! I think I have created a monster.

Although we have not been trying to potty train, Kennedy was very interested in going potty last weekend. We put her on the potty before bath and sure enough she went potty! Tony and I were so excited...maybe shocked that I think we freaked her out. She was very proud of herself and did great the whole rest of the weekend. She has been trying at school, but isn't diaper free by any means! Enjoy the action shots of the potty and bath!

New Toy! Well the Compton family got a new toy....well Tony got a new toy. Because of our dirt yard, we needed a lawn tractor. Tony and Kennedy drove around the street on the "tractor." Kennedy loved it! As you can see by her hands out, when Tony stopped she was not very happy.

The easter bunny brought Kennedy a stroller and a car seat for her babies. I don't know when it happened, but my baby grew up. :(

Kennedy digging into her easter basket!

Kennedy had a new pretty dress for Easter. She seemed to really like it, but didn't want to stay still for a picture.
